As many as 375 persons working in the healthcare system, who got infected with the novel coronavirus while on the job, will get a lump sum of 16,000 lei. A decision to this effect was approved in the April 17 meeting of the Cabinet, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Finance will allocate 6 million lei from the Government’s Intervention Fund for paying these lump sums.
Earlier, by the Government Decision of April 10, 464,000 lei was allocated for distributing by 16,000 lei to 29 health system employees who contracted the virus at the workplace.
