360,000 students celebrate last school day

As many as 360,000 students all over Moldova will go to school today, May 31, to attend the Last Bell Ring festivities, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of Education, about 20,000 students have finished the twelfth grade, while by approximately 40,000 students – the ninth grade and the fourth grade. A number of 7,000 twelfth graders will say goodbye to the high school in the municipality of Chisinau. 8,000 students have completed the ninth grade. About 80,000 students will celebrate the last school day before the summer vacation in the municipality. Last year, the last bell ring was rung for approximately 400,000 students. In Moldova, there are over 1,400 preuniversity education institutions.
