3,000 young Moldovans to be drafted this spring

2,970 young men will be drafted in May and June into the National Army, Border Guards Service and Carabineers Troops. The draft campaign officially started on May 4, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Moldovan Defense Ministry. 1,360 young men will be drafted into the National Army, as 910 will serve as carabineers, and 700 as border guards. 3,085 men were drafted in the 2008 spring campaign.
