A man aged 25 died in a road accident near Trifești village of Rezina district in the afternoon of June 10. He was speeding and lost control of the vehicle at a turn. The car changed lanes and collided head-on with a heavy truck, IPN reports.
Elena Băetrău, press officer of the Rezina Police Inspectorate, said the truck was driven by a man aged 57. The breath test showed the truck driver wasn’t inebriated.
The police call on drivers to obey the traffic rules and to adjust speed based on road conditions.
