25 passengers taken to hospital as a result of Chisinau bus accident

Twenty-five passengers were rushed to the hospital after the bus in which they were traveling overturned into a ditch in Chisinau on March 5. A man was admitted to the reanimatology section in a critical condition. Petru Cravet, spokesman for the National Emergency Medicine Center, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 25 passengers included two minors. The passengers suffered different injuries and are still examined. A part of them will be probably allowed to go home. Seven of the passengers were hospitalized with serious traumas, while a 64-year-old man is in a critical condition. According to doctors, the man was connected to the artificial respiration apparatus. The passenger minibus was running on the Chisinau – Gratiesti route. It overturned into a ditch near the intersection of the streets Doina and Soseaua Balcani in Chisinau. According to the Traffic Police Division, the bus was heading for the suburban settlement Gratiesti. There were about 40 persons in the bus.
