24 streets to be stopped up in Chisinau by this weekend

A number of 24 Chisinau streets will be stopped up by the end of this week. The damaged upper layer of asphalt near cemeteries was already replaced, the head of the road maintenance company “Exdrupo” Efim Cheptanaru said on April 26, Info-Prim Neo reports. There will be also stopped up the access roads to the suburbs of the municipality of Chisinau. From next week, “Exdrupo” is to start stopping up the secondary streets in Chisinau. Last week, the damaged upper layer of asphalt was replaced on 63 streets in Chisinau. The local authorities plan to fully repair ten streets this year, including Stefan cel Mare Blvd., Grigore Vieru Blvd., and Vadul lui Voda St. About 650,000 lei was allocated from the municipal budget for the purpose. The Chisinau Municipal Council allowed raising a loan of 162 million lei for street repair.
