A woman aged 21 from Comrat is suspected of killing her mother while under the influence of drugs. The body of the 40-year-old woman was found by the police in her home last night, IPN reports.
Contacted by IPN for details, Liubovi Enac, press officer of the Comrat Police Inspectorate, said a criminal case over intentional murder was started and the young woman was placed under arrest for 72 hours. The suspect does not have a criminal record.
Liubovi Enac said the police are interrogating the persons who can be involved or have information about this case. A number of examinations will be performed.
The victim was stabled with a knife for multiple times. It is presumed that the young woman had a quarrel with her mother as the latter tried to persuade her to receive drug addiction treatment.
