The Central Electoral Commission has accredited 2,061 national and international observers for the constitutional referendum and the presidential elections, as reported by IPN.
Of these, 1,277 national observers represent five civic associations in the country, with the majority accredited at the request of the Promo-LEX Association.
Additionally, 784 international observers have been accredited. They represent 24 diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of Moldova (186 individuals), 14 foreign electoral authorities (24 individuals), and two international associations (4 individuals). The election observation mission from OSCE/ODIHR will consist of 253 individuals, while ENEMO will have 49 observers, announced the president of the Central Electoral Commission.
According to Angela Caraman, "We will have observers representing: the Parliament of Ukraine – 11 individuals, the European Platform for Democratic Elections – 16 individuals, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation – 3 individuals, the International Organization of La Francophonie – 6 individuals, the Parliamentary Assembly of OSCE – 51 individuals, the European Parliament – 16 individuals, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe – 32 individuals, SILBA – 36 individuals, IFES – 15 individuals, IRI – 37 individuals, the National Democratic Institute – 36 individuals, IDEA – 3 individuals, and the Consulate General of Turkey – 6 individuals."
