The 2020 admission contest for bachelor’s and master’s degree studies at higher education establishments will take place online. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research sets common timeframes for organizing and holding the main session of the admission contest for all the universities, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Ministry says that it approved new provisions to the framework regulations concerning the organization of admission to higher education establishments for the 2020 – 2021 university year given the epidemiological developments and the measures taken by the authorities to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Applications could be submitted online between July 27 and August 4. The preliminary results will be made public on August 7. During August 8 – 18, the candidates will file the documents in the original to the chosen university according to an access program set by the institution. The final results will be announced on August 20.
The file with the necessary scanned documents can be transmitted to the admission commission through email, Viber, Skype, Messenger, WhatsApp, special admission software, etc.
If the budget-funded places are not filled, the higher education institutions will arrange additional sessions for the period between August 21 and August 29, 2020.
