Another 202 infections with the novel coronavirus were confirmed in Moldova on May 30. Of those infected, 20 are healthcare workers. A total of 1,539 tests were done today, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, three persons succumbed to COVID-19 today. The victims are two men and a woman aged between 63 and 79 from the municipality of Bălți and Ialoveni district. The death toll rose to 291.
Another 177 cured persons were discharged from the hospital, taking the total number of cured persons to 4,455.
As many as 8,098 persons contracted the virus in Moldova so far.
