2013 fiscal policy package is expected in Parliament this week

Following consultations with the Government, the package of fiscal policies for the next year should arrive in the legislative this week. Additionally, a bill for the correction of this year's State Budget is to be examined as well, Parliament Speaker Marian Lupu told Info-Prim Neo. The Speaker said he appreciates the fact that these bills will be examined according to schedule. “I have previously mentioned that I will not tolerate any breaches of law and regulations, because in the last few years these fiscal policies arrived either at the end of the year or, even worse, at the beginning of the respective year. This year we are going back to normal”, said Marian Lupu. The budget and fiscal policy for 2012 was approved upon first reading in Parliament on December 15, 2011, and a week later it was adopted in second reading.
