200,000 euros to better survival of premature newly-born in Moldova

The Development Bank of the Council of Europe disburses a grant to Moldova, worth 200,000 euros, to improve survival, growth and development conditions for premature newly-born in with very small weight, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Government’s press unit. The grant is part of larger program implying endowment with incubators for the newly-born, perfusion pumps and other specialized equipment. The project aims at providing necessary equipment to Mother and Child Centers from Chisinau and Tiraspol, to Hospital 1 from Chişinău, and to 11 maternities from Balti, Soroca, Orhei, Causeni, Ciadar-Lunga, Edinet and Comrat. The grant is implemented by U Moldova in cooperation with the Moldovan Government.
