The municipality intends to spread 2,000 tonnes of sands on three Chisinau beaches, in the parks “Rascani”, “La izvor” and “Valea Trandafirilor”. The works of the kind will be the first in the last few years, but a final decision in this respect is to be taken by the Chisinau Municipal Council on April 24.
Contacted by IPN, head of the Green Areas Association Eliferii Haruta said the works to lay out and clean the beaches will start in May. The draft decision was submitted to the Chisinau Council and envisions also works to repair the benches and the beach showers.
