The servicemen who were recently incorporated into the National Army took the military oath. The ceremony took place in a solemn setting, in garrison units in Chisinau and Balti. For six weeks, the soldiers of the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion "Blue Helmets" attended an initial training course, IPN reports.
National Army Commander, Vitalie Micov, Brigadier General, congratulated the young people and stressed that during a year they will develop essential skills for international military exercises and missions.
During the initial training course, the soldiers adapted to the schedule, studied the military regulations, elements of front-line training and the technical-tactical characteristics of the weapons of the National Army.
After taking the oath, the soldiers have five days of leave and will then return to the units to do their military service.
