2-year-old hospitalized after swallowing handful of pills

A 2-year old boy left unattended suffered strong intoxication after swallowing at least 10 pills “for adults”, according to the parents, and was hospitalized. An ambulance was called to the boy's home at around 10:00 on Tuesday. The parents were visibly drunk, a spokesperson for the Chisinau Emergency service told Info-Prim Neo. The child was rushed to the Mother & Child Center; his condition remains critical, doctors said.
