The student of the State University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics “Nicolae Testemitanu” who went missing on January 11 was found strangled. The General Police Inspectorate said the girl was discovered in the forest “Two outlaws” in Orhei district. According to the preliminary version, the girl hanged herself, IPN reports.
The police presume it was a suicide because the girl often accessed websites showing suicide methods in the recent past.
Earlier, the head of the Biucani Police Inspectorate Pavel Voicu said Gabriela Patrascu aged 19 was seen last when she was paying for public utilities at a bank in Chisinau, at about 11am on January 11. According to the information collected by the police, the girl was aloof and didn’t communicate much with her university mates. She told some mates that her father was tough and that it was hard for her to study medicine.
