18-year-old girl stabbed to death while going to take Baccalaureate exam

A girl aged 18 from Gordinesti village of Edinet district was stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend while she was heading for school to take the Baccalaureate exam. According to the Ministry of the Interior’s press officer Olga Baciu, the girl was stabbed four times in the abdomen and the thorax and died on the spot, Info-Prim Neo reports. Passersby found the girl lying in a pool of blood and informed the police in Edinet. The young woman had been earlier maltreated by her boyfriend. She even filed a complaint to the police in March and there was opened a legal case that was sent to the prosecutor’s office in Edinet for investigation. The police are looking for the murderer. The suspect is 25. If he is found guilty, he will service a long prison term or life.
