Sixteen settlements of the country continue to be disconnected from the power supply owing to the rainstorm, according to the latest information available at 5pm. The settlements are situated in Hancesti, Nisporeni, Straseni, Orhei, Cahul, Cantemir, and Cimislia districts.
According to the press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Diana Turcan, the roofs of 27 houses were partially destroyed in Jevreni, Hrusova and Zaicana of Criuleni district. The roof of the high school in Cruglic, Criuleni, was also damaged.
The settlements that remained without power on May 21 and 22 were reconnected to the supply.
