1500 young men can find jobs at the Jobs Fair

About 50 economic agents from the Chisinau offer over 1500 jobs at the Jobs Fair for youth, which took place on May 26 in Chisinau. The head of the Chisinau agency for work force (AOFMC), Ala Shupac, communicated for Info-Prim Neo that at the Fair which is organized yearly on May 26 also participate 4 high education institutions, 2 profesional schools and the Agency for work force, that offers its list of 3000 work places. According to the quoted source, the work places aim different areas, but the biggest offer is registered for the jobs of welder, carpenter, milling-machine operator, cook-men and most solicited – tailors. Shupac mentioned about the efficiency of this fair, because the practice showed that 10% of the participants find a work place, and the ones that can not obtain a job are being informed about the situation on the work places market. were searching for a job, of which 3 thousands found work places. During the first trimester of 2006, at the work market were registered 5 thousand unemployed persons, of which 600 became employed. The Jobs Fair is organized by AOFMC with the support of the Confederation of Free Syndicates “Solidaritate”, the Mayoralty of Chisinau and of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.
