As many as 113 vehicles were involved in works to spread antiskid material on the national roads last night. The largest volume of works was performed in the northern and central districts, where there were spread 1,500 tonnes of antiskid material, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure, 300 workers are ready to intervene in the areas where ice is forming on the roads.
The Ministry urges the motorists to be careful when driving and to call the State Road Administration’s hotline (022) 74-89-61 in case of major difficulties in traffic to seek help.
