15 companies to receive financing in leasing to purchase equipment

Fifteen economic entities will benefit from financing in leasing for buying equipment from the partner funds of the Japanese grant. Such a decision was taken recently in the meeting of the Consultative Board of the Support to and Development of the SME Sector for Promoting Structural Economic Adjustment Efforts, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry of Economy. “We must use this money very efficiently as the Government of Japan allowed us to use it even if they have to deal with the consequences of the Fukushima atomic catastrophe,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar, who chaired the meeting. The money will go to purchase equipment for keeping fruit and vegetables fresh, making bread and bakery products, extracting and bottling mineral water, producing paper sacks, etc. The beneficiary projects are implemented exclusively in the districts of Calarasi, Criuleni, Dubasari, Edinet, Floresti, Hancesti, Ialoveni, Leova, Rezina, Straseni, Stefan-Voda, Ungheni, and Gagauzia. The companies could apply for financing between April 11 and May 6. A number of 48 economic entities took part in the contest announced by the Ministry of Economy. They applied for financing of 64 million lei, mainly for buying frigorific equipment for keeping fruit and vegetables. In 2005-2011, a number of 138 companies received financing for purchasing equipment in leasing from the grant resources of 1.4 million Japanese yen and from the Japanese grant‘s partner funds of 101.5 million lei.
