A girl aged 14 was found dead in an unfinished building in Straseni town on November 30. The girl’s mother told the police that her daughter went missing last Friday. Four persons are suspected of murder, two of whom were arrested.

Contacted by IPN, head of the press service of the General Police Inspectorate Natalia Bucur-Bandas said the police were informed about the girl’s disappearance on November 28. Signs of violent death were identified on her body. A medicolegal examination is to be carried out.

Prosecutor of Straseni district Alexandru Rata has told IPN that they have four suspects. Two of these are held on remand and they admitted their guilt. The suspects were close to the girl. Volunteers were involved in the search operation. The teen was found in an unfinished building in Straseni. A criminal case was started over deliberate murder.

Viorica Oanta, psychologist of the Straseni-based Lyceum “Mihai Viteazu”, where the girl studied, has told IPN that the teen was diligent and didn’t show signs of depression. Earlier, she was absent from school for several days because she had some conflicts in the family. The girl’s parents divorced and she allegedly had a conflict with the mother, who maintained two minors and coped with difficulty. The girl didn’t have friends among her classmates and was closer to elder maters.

The psychologist urged the parents not to excessively check on the teens, but to anyway supervise them so as to know who they communicate with and with whom they spend the free time.
