14 villages in Dubasari, Anenii Noi and Causeni districts, located in the security zone and connected to the energy infrastructure on the left bank of the Dniester, will be connected to the infrastructure on the right bank of the Dniester. This was announced by Prime Minister Dorin Recean after the meeting of the Commission for Exceptional Situations, IPN reports.
Thus, for the Varnița and Copanca localities, the Premier Energy company is to create the necessary infrastructure to connect them to its network. The works will take at least 10 days for Copanca and at least 25 days for Varnita.
The villages of Pohrebea, Cosnita, Pirita, Dorotcaia, Molovata Noua, Roghi, Cocieri, Corjova and Vasilievca in Dubasari, Hirbovat and Varnita in Anenii Noi, the villages of Firladeni, Hagimus and Copanca in Causeni will be connected to the natural gas networks managed by the right bank. Here, says the prime minister, the work is more complex and will take longer, but will ultimately ensure the energy security of the villages concerned.
The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations will immediately provide electric generators: four in Varnita and one in Cocieri, needed to provide electricity to public institutions in these localities (kindergartens, high schools and community centers). And the town hall of Cocieri will receive another 2 generators to ensure uninterrupted water supply to the village.
233 thousand lei were allocated from the Government's Intervention Fund for the diesel necessary for the operation of generators and for pellets for the Varnița High School.
The placement center for the elderly in Cocieri will receive support in the transportation of diesel fuel, in addition to the large-capacity generator that was sent there last week.
"These settlements are in the security zone and have remained connected to the energy infrastructure on the left bank of the Dniester. That means they depend on Tiraspol's decisions on whether they have power or not. Now we will do what should have been done 30 years ago", said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
