Fourteen of the 15 day camps have completed their activity program. The camp at “Ion and Doina Aldea Teodorovici” Theoretical High School, which is attended by 60 students, remains open. The information was presented by the deputy head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports of the Chisinau City Hall Andrei Pavaloi at the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, IPN reports.
In the current period, 3,023 students are resting in vocational camps within Extracurricular Centers, of whom 85 children come from socially vulnerable families and refugee families. There is also an ecological camp, where 252 children are resting and 61 of them are from Ukrainian refugee families.
As many as 348 students are in sports camps. As for the three camps with permanent stay, 200 children are resting at “Alunelul Camp, while 500 at “Poienița Veselă” Camp. On June 24, the second round for “Cireșarii” Camp was completed and the next round there starts on June 27.
Over 35 million lei was allocated from the municipal budget for organizing the children’s rest this summer season.
