1,300 foreigners can work in Moldova in 2011

The 2011quota of foreign migrants authorized to work in Moldova remained at the same level as last year – 1,300 persons, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga, though the investments in Moldova increased in volume, the 2010 quota was not fulfilled. However, given that important road rehabilitation projects are to be implemented in the country and there are preconditions for attracting more investments, it was decided to maintain the level of 1,300 persons. Last year, the Employment Agency authorized 647 foreigners to work, including 274 administrators and persons with executive posts, 13 teachers delegated under bilateral agreements, 107 highly-qualified specialists, and 153 persons for other jobs.
