A teenage boy aged 13 was hit fatally by a car in Cristești village of Nisporeni district. He suffered serious injured and died before an ambulance arrived.
Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Nisporeni Police Inspectorate Cristina Vicol said the identity of the boy was discovered. He was from Nisporeni district. He was going home when a 41-year-old man native of Romania driving a Toyota car struck him close to Cristești. The boy was jaywalking.
The driver was tested with a Drager device and this showed that the man wasn’t under the influence of alcohol.
