A girl aged 13 died in the hospital the next day after she was hospitalized with a leg fracture. According to the channel Pro TV, legal examiners said the girl died of pneumonia. The parents insist yet that the girl didn’t have the symptoms of the disease and the real cause of death is being hidden, IPN reports.
The parents related that they took their daughter to the hospital in Ialoveni as she fractured her leg when she was playing. The girl’s father said the doctors put her leg in plaster, but considers that this was placed too tight.
The next day, the teen was taken again to the hospital in Ialoveni with chest pain. As they discovered an infection in the broken leg, the doctors ordered that she be taken to the Mother and Child Center in Chisinau. Here, she died in less than 24 hours of the hospitalization.
The girl’s parents suspect that a mistake was made and the circulation of blood was disrupted. The doctors in Ialoveni and those of the Mother and Child Center deny that a medical error had been made.
According to the parents, the preliminary conclusion of the medical examiners is that the girl suffered from bilateral pneumonia. Specialists of the Mother and Child Center said it is too early to name the exact cause of death.
