Thirteen students who tried to use cellphones and earphones in order to copy in the Baccalaureate exam in the foreign language were removed from the examination hall, IPN reports.
Director of the Quality Assurance Agency Anatol Topala told a news conference that the previous exam papers of the 13 students will also be annulled and these will be able to take the Baccalaureate exams again next year.
Among the 13 students are those who placed selective items from the foreign language exam on the Internet on the eve of the exam. The Ministry of Education asked the General Police Inspectorate to intervene.
The next Baccalaureate exam will be taken on June 12. The students studying exact sciences will sit the math exam, while those studying humanities – the exam in the history of Romanians and universal history. The other candidates will have exams in technology, arts or sport. This exam will be taken by 23,619 students.
