Nine adults and two children were hospitalized in Briceni and Edinet with mushroom poisoning last weekend. Their state is now medium grave, IPN reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, three person, two of whom minors aged 4 and 12, were admitted to the Edinet district hospital after eating mushrooms prepared at home on September 21. Another eight persons were admitted to the Briceni district hospital with mushroom poisoning on September 22.
The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service recommends avoiding eating mushrooms gathered in unauthorized places and unknown species.
