Eleven passengers of a minibus on the route Chisinau-Opaci, with a two-year old child among them, ended up in the hospital after the vehicle crashed into a tree. Three of them have been hospitalized in the intensive care ward, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Traffic Police Department, the minibus driver was a 21-year-old man who had no driving license for vehicles of this category. Because of the excessive speed, he lost control of the wheel and crashed into a tree. As a result, 11 people including the driver have been injured. Six of the passengers, the child among them, were stuck in the deformed vehicle and the rescuers had to extricate them, informs the Civil Protection and Emergency Service. Director of Causeni District Hospital Alexandru Cojocaru told Info-Prim Neo that 10 of the 11 people brought to the hospital remain hospitalized, including a woman in critical condition. Two of the patients had to undergo surgery. The two-year-old child is safe and will soon be discharged. The accident happened on Tuesday, July 17, on the road to Opaci village, Causeni district.
