As many as 100 young people from Moldova and Romania were taught how to start a business within a project co-financed by the Joint Operational Program Romania - Ukraine – Republic of Moldova 2007-2013, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the program, the young people were helped by business consultants to design 77 business plans in different areas. The best 20 business ideas were presented to the public in the Crossborder Cooperation Forum held in Chisinau, with four of them being awarded. There were identified opportunities for developing viable businesses.
The Lead your Way to Business Project includes a series of activities designed to offer support to young entrepreneurs after its completion. There were created two business support crossborder centers Start-up in Chisinau and in Iasi, where the young people who want to start a business have access to specialized literature and can benefit from consultancy.
