A man opened fire on Lermontov St in Chisinau. The police announced that three persons were hurt – two police officers and an employee of the Buiucani district head’s office. The Chisinau Emergency Medicine Center said that according to their information, six persons suffered injuries, two of whom children.

Emergency Medicine Center spokesman Petru Cravet has told IPN that the ambulances with those hurt haven’t yet arrived at the hospital. It’s known that a person is in a serious condition, with a gunshot wound in the abdomen.

Head of the press service of the General Police Inspectorate Sabina Cojusnean said a man living on Lermontov St fired his hunter’s gun. He bared access to the court of the block where he lives. A conflict arouse when representatives of the local authorities, accompanied by policemen, came to the scene to demand that he removes the barriers. The man went to his place and brought the gun.
