Parade of carnival masks at National Museum of Arts

First-ninth graders Thursday met at the Children’s Carnival held at the National Museum of Arts in Chisinau. They sang carols, recited poems and presented plays in a holiday atmosphere. In the end, they took part in a parade of masks, Info-Prim Neo reports. The children who came at the carnival with masks were examined by a jury without their knowledge. A number of heroes were selected in the end, who then took part in a number of competitions. The most inventive ones emerged victories. The winners received by an invitation to a Chisinau café. The other participants were given candies and calendars for 2011. One of the finalists Nicu, a second grader at “Gheorghe Asachi“ High School, put on a musketeer costume because D'Artagnan is his favorite character. Patricia, of the same school, was dressed like the Little Red Riding Hood as she likes this story very much. It was the third Children’s Carnival at the National Museum of Arts of Moldova.
