More than €5,000 was raised at the sixth HOSPICE Angelus Football Cup that took place last weekend. The funds will be used to support the palliative care services offered to children and adults who suffer from incurable diseases, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the organizers, the event this year involved 28 teams that represented a number of organizations, companies and national and international institutions.

The team of Moldova Agroindbank ranked third, those of Trigor AVD – second, while the cup went to the team of Morebooks.

HOSPICE Angelus Moldova is the main provider of palliative care services in Moldova, which provides medical, social, psychological and emotional assistance to children and grownups who suffer from incurable advanced, progressive and life-limiting diseases. In 2015, more than 2,300 people found support and consolation at HOSPICE Angelus.
