As many as 5,724 students took part in the additional Baccalaureate session of this year. Of these, over 1,600 passed the exams. Thus, the exam pass rate rose to 62%, director of the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment Anatol Topala said in a news conference, IPN reports.

The exam pass rate is thus higher by about 15% than in 2014 and by 4% higher than in 2015. In 66 lyceums, all the students passed the exams.

The grades in exams are also higher. In 2014, the average grade in the Baccalaureate exams was 6.57, in 2015 – 6.53, while in 2016 – 6.7.
