President Nicolae Timofti addressed a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Easter holidays to all the Moldovans. According to the head of state, Easter is the feast of miracle and hope and it will help us to overcome all the obstacles and ensure peace and understanding in the country, IPN reports.

“In these moments of spiritual recovery occasioned by Easter, I want to wish you peace, health, welfare and harmony in your families,” it is said in the President’s message.

Nicolae Timofti underlined the Christian significance and traditions of this feast, calling on the people to celebrate this holiday together with the family. “Though we face many problems and challenges in this period, it is important to keep these nice traditions so that we continue to be united and exist as a people, build prosperity and develop the country,” said the head of state.
