Dumitru Parfentiev was named as director of the National Health Insurance Company by a Government decision on February 24, IPN reports.

Prime Minister Pavel Filip said Parfentiev studied management and held managerial posts and has also analytical and synthesis capacities and will be able to cope with the new post.

Also today, the Cabinet appointed Irimia Prisejniuc as senior state adviser responsible for corruption prevention and combating.
