More and more debtors sign settlement plans for heating debt
The number of debtors, who signed debt settlement plans for heating, increased considerably in June. Over 13,000 such plans were signed, reports Info-Prim Neo.
According to a communiqué from “Termocom” JSC, in June, 100 employees were taken out of their production activity and engaged in debt collection. They visited the debtors’ homes together with the Marketing, Sales and Client Relations Service, and notified them about their missing payments and the consequences the latter may cause.
Debtors with poor financial status had the possibility to sign debt settlement plans. Nevertheless, almost 6,000 consumers refused to do so, for various reasons. Some said that they will pay their entire debt in the following days. Those who do not do so will be sued.
According to the provision of the Government’s Order from September 20, 2011, the payments for the cold season heating should be entirely paid by August 1 of the same year. During the heating season, the monthly payment for the service should be no less than 40% of the bill.
The bill can be paid at the Post Office, banks, and at the “Termocom” JSC store on 6 T. Vladimirescu street. The heating provider kindly asks the citizens to be prompt in paying their debt.
