The monument in memory of the victims of Stalinist repression was delivered to Chisinau from Minsk, where the memorial was cast in bronze. Constructions Division head Roman Sofroni Monday said the monument got to the customs terminal, where there is to be paid the import duty, IPN reports.

According to Roman Sofroni, the monument may be put up in the square of the Railway Terminal in Chisinau this week, if a special crane is found to lift the stone onto the pedestal.

The body of the monument to deportees was sent to Minks to be cast in bronze at the beginning of February.
