Money allotted for purchasing another 18 houses

The Government allocated 3.3 million lei for buying homes for 18 families whose houses have been destroyed by this summer’s floods, Info-Prim Neo reports. Deputy Minister of State Anatolie Onceanu said the 18 families are from Hancesti, Cantemir and Ungheni districts. A house costs 182,000 lei on average. Houses for ten families have been purchased so far. Philanthropic organizations provided money for buying houses for another six families. Thus, 34 of the 70 flood-hit families who wanted to be bought houses will have homes. The next tranche for acquiring houses will be disbursed in two weeks. Besides purchasing homes, the state builds 563 houses for flood victims from Cotul Morii village. The walls of over 140 of them have been erected.
