The Moldovans cannot enter Bulgaria as of October 30 given that Moldova was added to the list of countries classed as “red zone”, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Chisinau has said, being quoted by IPN.
However, the Moldovans will be able to further cross Bulgaria when heading for Moldova. When going to other states via Bulgaria, the citizens will have to possess documents showing that they will be able to immediately leave Bulgaria.
Entry into Bulgaria is allowed to the citizens of this country, persons with a permanent residence permit or long-stay visa in Bulgaria and members of their families, citizens of the EU member states and of the countries of the European Economic Area, persons working in medial sciences, social workers and their managers, when the goal of the trip is related to the fulfillment of official duties.
Among those who can enter Bulgaria are also persons with official foreign posts, members of their delegations, diplomas, members of the administrative and technical personnel of diplomatic missions of foreign states in Bulgaria, persons who travel for humanitarian purposes, seasonal agricultural workers, tourism industry workers and others.
