The section of Mihai Viteazul St between Stefan cel Mare Blvd and Columna St was closed because of the bomb scare reported at the Buiucani district head’s office, IPN reports. The about 30 employees of the institution were escorted out. The building is surrounded with a police strip banning access.

The bomb squad is still examining the building. There is no ambulance or firefighting vehicle nearby.

The police haven’t yet discovered the identity of the man who called the police and informed that a bomb was put in the building and will blow up. The call to 902 was made at 10.15.
