A man aged 33 from Orhei district is suspected of keeping and distributing child pornography, IPN reports.

The General Police Inspectorate said the man faces one to three years in jail for child pornography. The police will examine the videos found in the man’s computer and the discs identified at his place to determine if children from Moldova were involved in the child pornography. There will be also established the identity of the persons suspected of sexual relations with minors.

In connection with this case, the parents are warned that they must monitor the social networking sites used by their children so as to prevent situations when they can become victims of pedophiles.
