A 40 year old man turned himself in to the police this morning, July 13, and confessed to have killed his wife’s lover, a man from Roscani village, Anenii Noi district, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Ministry of the Interior informs on its webpage that on July 13, at 2.30 AM, a man called the unit on duty of the Anenii Noi Police Commissariat, and said that screams could be heard from his neighbor’s house. The police arrived and found the body of a 55 year old man with multiple injuries on his head, knees and buttocks and a cut in testicles area. It was found that in the evening of July 12, the 40 year old man from Harbovat village, Anenii Noi, drove his car to his wife’s lover’s house. The discussion turned into an argument and then into a fight. The attacker used hit the victim with a glass jar. When the latter could oppose no resistance, the husband cut his testicles with a knife. The man died. At 5 AM, the suspect turned himself in at the Anenii Noi Police Commissariat, where he confessed. He is charged with premeditated murder, which is punishable by 20 years in jail or even life sentence.
