Inclusive education funds will be set up in every district, depending on the number of students with special educational needs, for financing the support services at institutional level, IPN reports.
Minister of Education Maia Sandu said the funds will represent up to 2% of the allocations calculated based on the formula for financing education institutions, according to the standard cost per student. The district authorities are to work out own regulations for distributing the money to schools where there are students with special educational needs.
The draft budget law for 2014 includes 67.5 million lei for inclusive education.
