The Government proposes Parliament to ratify the lending agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for the second project to improve the efficiency of the centralized heating system. The project was negotiated and signed in September this year, IPN reports.
To implement the project, the IBRD will lend Moldova €92 million.
The project is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the heating system in the municipality of Chisinau, improving the quality and efficiency of the heating services, optimizing the heat and electricity generation platform by modernizing the thermoelectric stations.
The project is to be completed in December 2025.
