Four Moldovan citizens killed in Moscow fire

Four citizens of Moldova lost their lives in a fire occurred on January 31 at a building site located in Mytishchi, Moscow region, Russia. According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this information was confirmed by Russian authorities. Because of the severe burns, and lack of information about the persons who died, the identification of the bodies was a hard task, but it was achieved with help from the victim’s relatives. MFA specifies that the diplomatic mission of Moldova in the Russian Federation offers the necessary assistance to the relatives of the deceased, including the transportation of the bodies back to Moldova. The case is investigated by the authorities of the Russian Federation. 8 persons lost their lives in the fire occurred in the region of Moscow. According to the Russian press, the fire occurred at the building site of a sports centre in Veshki village. Preliminary investigation found that the victims were working at the building site.
