First Deputy Speaker: I’m looking forward to hearing revelations that will be made after elections

First Deputy Head of Parliament Vlad Plahotniuc said he does not know who the puppeteer to which Prime Minister Vlad Filat, the leader of the PLDM, referred repeatedly is. After the May 12 sitting of the legislative body, Plahotniuc said he was looking forward to hearing the revelations that the Premier will make after the local elections, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I also expect to hear these disclosures. I’m curious as everyone,” said Vlad Plahotniuc. The Democrat MP refuted that he had met with unaffiliated MP Mihai Godea in Vienna, when the latter was the leader of the Liberal-Democratic parliamentary group. “I had a number of meetings with Mister Godea as with other faction leaders inside Parliament. Those discussions centered on his work as leader of the Liberal-Democratic group,” he said. As to Mihai Godea’s assertions that the political instability is caused by the interference of three groups of interest headed by Vladimir Voronin, Vlad Filat and Vlad Plahotniuc, the First Deputy Speaker said they are electoral in character, stressing his interests cannot intersect with Vlad Filat’s interests. “I hope the disputes inside the ruling parties will not affect the Alliance for European Integration,” said the MP.
