The Easter vacation set for April 23 – May 2 started for school students who will return to classes on May 3, IPN reports.
In this connection, the police will conduct a nationwide operation titled “Care” to prevent and combat juvenile delinquency, traumas and to ensure the safety of children during the vacation.
The General Police Inspectorate recommends the children not to open the door to unknown persons even if these say that they were sent by their parents. The door should be always locked. If they are phoned, they should tell the foreigners that they are not alone at home. If they are afraid or feel threatened, they should seek help from a reliable neighbor. The children are urged not to offer personal data or pictures to persons with whom they talk online, to obey the traffic rules and to cross the street only at crosswalks.
In emergencies, the people should call the 112 Service.
