The Chisinau City Hall started to set up areas for the selective collection of household waste. The municipal cleanup company “Autosalubritate” is installing plastic containers with a capacity of 1.1 cubic meters, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the City Hall, the first containers are being put up in Buiucani district. There will be placed 500 green containers for glass, 500 blue containers for cardboard and paper and 1,200 yellow containers for plastic objects.

As many as 2,000 German-type containers with a capacity of 1.1 cubic meters and 7,800 ordinary containers with a capacity of 0,750 cubic meters are now available in Chisinau.
